Vegan Egg-Nog

Ingredients

  • 500ml oat milk
  • 2 tsp cornflour
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ground ginger
  • Pinch of ground nutmeg
  • Tiny pinch of ground cloves
  • 2 tbsp sugar (less if you like things a little less sweet)
  • 50ml Amarula Vegan
  • 8 - 10 drops of Angostura orange bitters
  • Vegan whipped cream
  • Orange zest, cinnamon sugar to decorate

  • 500ml oat milk
  • 2 tsp cornflour
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ground ginger
  • Pinch of ground nutmeg
  • Tiny pinch of ground cloves
  • 2 tbsp sugar (less if you like things a little less sweet)
  • 50ml Amarula Vegan
  • 8 – 10 drops of Angostura orange bitters
  • Vegan whipped cream
  • Orange zest, cinnamon sugar to decorate

Add your oat milk to a pan on a low-medium heat. Mix your cornflour with 4tbsp. water in a small bowl until dissolved. Ad to the milk along with all your spices and gently bring the milk to the boil. Drop to a light simmer and continue to cook until your milk has thickened to a custard consistency.

Split between two glasses and add a 25ml shot of Amarula Vegan to each serving. Add 4 – 5 splashes of Angostura bitters to each drink and give it a stir.

Top with whipped cream, orange zest and cinnamon sugar and indulge in the joy of this gorgeous winter warmer.
