- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp caster sugar
- 250ml milk
- 1 egg
- fresh fruit e.g peaches, blueberries

Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F/gas 4.
Mix ingredients into a smooth batter. Pour into a lined baking tin and dot with fresh fruit.
Bake for 20 minutes until risen, fluffy and golden.
