Sangria

Sangria reminds me of Spanish holidays - sitting in the sunshine, eating tomato salads and playing card games.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 orange
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1/2 apple
  • 1 tbsp cranberries
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 heaped tsp golden caster sugar
  • 15ml dark rum
  • 15ml peach liqueur
  • 125ml orange juice
  • 1/2 bottle of full-bodied red wine (I recommend a Rioja)
  • 125ml lemonade
  • ice to serve

  • 1/2 orange
  • 1/2 lemon

  • 15ml peach liqueur
  • 125ml orange juice
  • 1/2 bottle of full-bodied red wine (I recommend a Rioja)
  • 125ml lemonade
  • ice to serve

Slice and muddle your orange, lemon, apple and cranberries.

Stir in your cinnamon, sugar, rum and peach liqueur.

Pour in your orange and red wine.

Add ice and 125ml Lemonade.
