The Pumpkin Spice Latte has become something of a cult item, and I'm going to show you how to make a delicious one at home!
Ingredients
- 1 ½ tbsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tbsp ground ginger
- ½ tbsp ground nutmeg
- a pinch of ground cloves
- 500ml milk
- 2 tbsp pumpkin puree
- 2 tbsp sugar (alter to your own taste)
- 1 tsp vanilla bean paste
- ½ tbsp pumpkin spice blend, plus more for serving
- 2-3 shots of espresso
For the Pumpkin Spice Blend…
- 1 ½ tbsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tbsp ground ginger
- ½ tbsp ground nutmeg
- a pinch of ground cloves
For the Pumpkin Spice Latte…
- 500ml milk
- 2 tbsp pumpkin puree
- 2 tbsp sugar (alter to your own taste)
- 1 tsp vanilla bean paste
- ½ tbsp pumpkin spice blend, plus more for serving
- 2-3 shots of espresso
Mix your spices together to form your pumpkin spice blend. Double the quantities so you always have a stash on hand to indulge in.
Into a pan add all of your ingredients, except the coffee, and bring to a very gentle simmer for 1 minute, whisking to allow the flavours to meld and warm through and to add a light froth to your latte. Add your coffee and serve in tall glasses with a dusting of your pumpkin spice blend to finish.
