Protein Balls

These protein balls will store in the fridge for up to a week and are great for an on the go breakfast or as a pre/post workout top-up.

Ingredients

  • 2 large free-range egg whites
  • 80g dried fruit (raisins, cranberries, sultanas)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla paste
  • 125g crunchy nut butter (peanut, almond or cashew) 
  • 30g porridge oats
  • 80g ground almonds
  • 30g protein powder (optional) 

  • 2 large free-range egg whites
  • 80g dried fruit (raisins, cranberries, sultanas)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla paste
  • 125g crunchy nut butter (peanut, almond or cashew)
  • 30g porridge oats
  • 80g ground almonds
  • 30g protein powder (optional)

Blitz the egg whites, dried fruit and vanilla together into a fluffy paste. Pour into a bowl with your nut butter, oats, almonds and protein powder (if using) and stir to combine into a tacky dough.

Roll into golf ball-sized balls and then roll into some toasted almond flakes to finish. These will store in the fridge for up to a week and are great for on the go or as a pre/post workout top-up.
