This recipe was created in partnership with Manilife Peanut Butter.
Mix together your flour, golden caster sugar and baking powder, crack in 2 eggs and pour in your milk. Mix into a smooth batter – it should be the consistency of double cream.
In a separate bowl, combine your Manilife Deep Roast Smooth with maple syrup. Pop into a piping bag and snip a small hole at the end.
Place a non-stick frying pan on low heat and wipe with butter. Pipe your spiral (or any design you fancy) into the pan, followed quickly by a generous ladle of batter (enough to cover your spiral).
Leave on the heat for 2-3 minutes or until the bubbles on the surface start to pop. Then it’s time to flip. Do this confidently, so as not to disturb your spiral. Flip and cook for a further 2-3 minutes on the other side.
Serve as is, or top with more delicious Manilife Peanut Butter!
