Ingredients
- 2 sheets of puff pastry
- 1 jar Nutella
- 1 egg, whisked
- Cinnamon and sugar

This is SO SIMPLE and you’re going to love it!
Preheat your oven to 180°C/350°F/gas 4.
Unroll one sheet of puff pastry. Warm up a jar of Nutella to soften it up, then pour on to the pastry and spread right to the edges. Lay the second sheet of pastry on top.
Cut a tree shape (save the off cuts and bake separately for chef’s nibbles!) and then cut strips up each side of the tree, every 3cm, leaving an inch ‘trunk’ gap in the middle where you don’t cut. Twist each strip and place back down to make the branches. Finish by brushing with an egg wash and sprinkle generously with cinnamon and sugar.
Pop in the oven for 25 minutes until it’s golden, puffed up and the underside is cooked too. Dust with icing sugar if you like and and EAT IT while it’s still warm.
