When Easter and Christmas collide... it's chocolate heaven with these mulled wine brownies.
Ingredients
- 185g good quality milk chocolate
- 185g unsalted butter
- 285g light muscovado sugar
- 3 large free-range eggs
- 100ml red wine
- 85g plain flour
- 40g cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ginger
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp clove
- 185g good quality milk chocolate

- 100ml red wine
- 85g plain flour
- 40g cocoa powder

Preheat your oven to 200°C/400°F/gas 6.
Melt your chocolate over a bain-marie.
Cream your butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add your eggs one at a time and whisk in between. Fold in your wine, melted chocolate, cocoa powder, flour and spices.
Decant your mixture into a greased and lined baking tin. Sprinkle with sea salt and bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
