This simple yet decadent chocolate tart recipe features a buttery crust filled with rich chocolate ganache
Ingredients
- 250g biscuits (wafers and digestives)
- 75g melted butter
- 200ml double cream melted
- 100g dark chocolate
- 100g milk chocolate
- Generous pinch of salt

Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F/gas 4.
In a bowl, combine the chocolate wafer crumbs and melted butter. Mix well. Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch tart pan with removable bottom.
Bake for 5 minutes or until set. Let cool completely on a wire rack.
In a small saucepan, heat the double cream until it simmers.
Remove from heat and add the chopped chocolate and salt. Stir until smooth.
Pour the chocolate mixture into the cooled crust.
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or until set.
Serve chilled.
