Microwave Chocolate Cake In A Cup

Craving a slice of cake but haven't got the time? This microwave chocolate cake is surprisingly fluffy and rich in flavour.

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp plain flour
  • 4 tbsp caster sugar
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 tbsp whole milk
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • a drop of vanilla extract
  • chocolate chips if you fancy

Start by mixing together your dry mix, then add your egg and whisk thoroughly. Add your wet ingredients and chocolate chips if you fancy and stir to combine.

Blast in the microwave at 800 watts for 3 minutes until your cake has stopped rising. Allow cooling before diving in.
