Ingredients
- 500g pork mince
- 1/2 tsp dried sage
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp ground white pepper
- 1/2 tsp caster sugar
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 eggs
- American cheese squares
- 4 muffins
- 500g pork mince
- 1/2 tsp dried sage
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp ground white pepper
- 1/2 tsp caster sugar
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 eggs
- American cheese squares
- 4 muffins
Mix your pork mince with sage, thyme, garlic, onion, pepper, sugar and salt.
Once combined roll into 4 patties and flatten down to 1 inch wider than your muffins (they will shrink in the pan).
Fry in 1 tsp of oil for 3 minutes on each side. Lay on a slice of cheese for the final minute.
Grease a chef’s ring and pop into a pan on medium-high heat. Crack your egg into the ring and pour a glug of boiling water into the empty pan around the ring. Pop a lid on and cook for 1-2 minutes. This will steam your egg for a light white and perfectly runny yolk.
Toast your muffins and sandwich your burger and egg. Brunch heaven!
