Everyone loves Eggy Bread!
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 100ml whole milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla bean paste
- generous pinch cinnamon
- small pinch of nutmeg
- 4 slices of bread
- toppings of your choice

Whisk your ingredients in a bowl. Soak your bread slices in your egg mixture, saturating it on both sides.
Heat a pan on medium-high heat with a drizzle of oil and a small knob of butter. Pop your bread into the pan and cook for 2 minutes on each side until golden and crisp.
Scatter with your favourite toppings (my favourite is definitely strawberries and a glug of honey).
