Egg Mayo

Creamy egg mayonnaise sandwiches are a classic British choice, perfect for a quick and easy lunch or snack.

Ingredients

  • 6 large free-range eggs
  • 4 tbsp good mayo
  • 1 tsp dijon mustard
  • salt and pepper for seasoning¬†
  • your chosen bread

Place the eggs in a saucepan and add enough water to cover them completely. Bring the water to a boil over high heat.

Once the water is boiling, reduce the heat to low and let the eggs simmer for 9-12 minutes, depending on how well-cooked you like your yolks.

Once the eggs are done, remove them from the saucepan and place them in a bowl of cold water for a few minutes to cool down.

Peel the egg and chop them roughly.

Add your mayo and dijon mustard and season to your own personal preference.

Sandwich between two slices of bread and enjoy!
