Chocolate Bark

Make your midnight chocolate snack a little more exciting or treat your loved ones with this easy handmade gift!

Ingredients

  • 100g dark chocolate
  • 100g milk chocolate
  • 50g white chocolate
  • your favourite toppings e.g. dried fruit, nuts, diced chocolate bars

Firstly melt each chocolate gently over a bain-marie – this means suspending a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water without it touching.

Melt each chocolate separately until it is runny and smooth.

Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper and pour on your chocolate. I like to start with my dark chocolate, then the milk, then the white chocolate. Use the end of a spoon to gently swirl the colours together. The swirls and ripples look so pretty.

Whilst the chocolate is still wet sprinkle on whatever toppings you fancy. This can be fruit or nuts, or even other confectionaries. Pop in the fridge to cool and solidify for a couple of hours before breaking up into large shards.
