  • 500g high welfare mince
  • ½ red onion, finely diced
  • ½ bunch parsley
  • 60-80g cheddar cheese, grated

Combine the mince, red onion and parsley and scrunch together (if you are cooking now then season generously with salt and pepper, otherwise hold off until you are ready to cook to avoid drawing out the moisture).

Split your mince into 3-4 patties. With each patty remove a third and shape into a burger. Put your thumb into the centre to create a well and fill it with 20g of grated cheddar cheese. Place the remaining meat on top and squeeze to seal.

Sear them on high heat in 1 tsp olive oil and then drop the heat and cook through on medium heat for 15 minutes (being sure to turn halfway). If you are using supermarket mince, please cook thoroughly.

Serve up with my burger sauce and ENJOY!
