Facciamo dei biscotti deliziosi!
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 250g light brown sugar
- 330g plain flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp mixed spice
- 85g cherries
- 85g raisins
- 85g blanched almonds
- 30g pistachios
- 1 orange, zested

Preheat the oven at 200°C/400°F/gas 6.
Beat together the eggs and sugar until nice and fluffy. Sift in the flour, and then add in all the other ingredients. Give a good mix into a sticky dough.
On a floured surface, roll the dough into fat sausages and put on a lined baking tray. Bake for 25 minutes.
Now biscotti means twice cooked – so that’s what we do! Slice up your sausage shapes into wedges, and lay back on the baking tray. They go back into the oven for 10 – 15 minutes until golden.
