SERVES 4 | 10-15 MINUTES COOKING

Grab a high sided pot and a bag of proper porridge oats. 1 builder's mug of oats with 3 builder's mugs of water will be enough for 4 people. Add a pinch of sea salt, bring to the boil and then turn down to  a low heat for 10-15 minutes.

Just before ready, loosen with milk and a touch of honey or sugar.
